While it’s true that whatever Tron did to III clearly helped to loosen a bunch of screws in III’s head…
I don’t really see how his behavior is “OOC” or completely magic induced? Yes, he’s always been the most empathetic of the siblings, but I think people have been just shoehorning him into the…
While I do like III to some extent, his behavior seems random on the grounds that I see no reason for him to be taking it out on Yuma, other than that he has friends/family. I get that there’s supposed to be some back story there with Yuma’s parents, but without that, III really seems to have just turned on a dime in turns of personality. It doesn’t help the general perception of Tron that he had just gone and gotten chummy with Yuma not five minutes beforehand in the episode. Between that and the fact that he’s usually been seen in contrast to IV, I don’t think much has been done to discourage the perception that III is more empathetic and a “nicer” person on the whole.
Besides which, I think it’s mostly that his behavior is taken to crazy extremes with very little reason other than Tron’s magic powers. It’s a little off-putting and I think would have worked better if they’d actually looked at III’s history a little more than just vaguely hinting at it and giving no real information. But then, this is Zexal and that’d be setting expectations a little high.
